advice for authors

I found this useful enough (meaning it confirmed my previously existing opinion about the state of the world).

So that would mean with my average of 46 hits per day (assuming they aren't all that weird sandwich maker guy who used to stalk me and put notes in my turkey club) then I have an audience of 40. Add in family and enemies and that will take you up to 100 or so. I think I have a lot of work to do in building my platform (as they call it) so that I can sell some books. On the other hand, I'd rather just write the books now and worry about selling them later.

That's supposedly what I have been doing for the days since my last post. Unfortunately it isn't my book, it's one that I'm ghostwriting. And for some reason whenever I go to write I find myself driven to vacuumn. And that wouldn't be so bad except I've embarked upon the task of vaccuming the out of doors.

After that I will wash it in bleach and hose it down. Then leaves will fall off trees and I'll have to do it all again.
